hmmm I didnt see any huge rocks either, there were some rocks, I too was on a rigid setup. Shutdown needs some work, that last rain tore it up bad.

I did end up in the wrong class somehow, ending up having to race a blaster
But got that handled.

4'3s huh? Thats pretty good, I personally didnt see any passes that fast. (wish I could have). Great looking bike, You guys did an awesome job on the build.

Didnt get to make many passes while lights were working

I had some fuel pump issues, Need to get some more tire them 14's just werent cutting it, gonna try some diff gearing and get carb dialed in....I think theres more in it. Also snapped my front motor mounts. I am real happy w/ the way it ran thou, I was shootin for 4.7's blew that out of the water.

We really appreciate everyones patience....we will get the lights up and working im sure. Was a great pleasure meeting all the new faces.

Thanks Dave (daojogejr) for the atvdragracers swag (stickers)

QUOTE (fat [censored] @ May 17 2009, 07:59 PM) index.php?act=findpost&pid=43042couple 4.3's threw a chain and track was rough with huge rocks. the shut down was bad on a rigid frame hang on thats for sure. the track will be sweet for the next one. what was the time for the 250 and the 450.crow

My best time was 6.5 on the R, did not get a time on my 450, Im sure it would have been a little faster! As for the R I went to a taller tire this year from last and did not change up my gearing, the dirt bosses are hooking up great, but I think Im a few tenths of a second slower with the bosses.might go 40 or 41 on the rear sprocket next time!
Glad to finaly get that 450R running smooth

I'm looking forward to making it down there and taking a few passes with you guys. This track is a lil bit closer for me then Bobs and Ionial. If all goes well with my leak down and squish... I should have the motor in the chassis this week!
I can't wait to get out there again...

The good thing about the disc is it turns the track nice...bad thing is it does turn up some rocks.
There were plenty guys...I must have walked the track 5-10 times Saturday and picked up whatever I could to get it out of harms way (even if that means chucking one at the starting line and accidentally hitting the staging lights...duh...)

There's a lot of clay in that track, it's gonna be fast fo sho...

The left lane shutdown has concrete, the dozer and disc kept scraping it....I barely rolled over it.

Guys, don't take this the wrong way. I'm very happy you're so close for us East Siders...I know you've come a long way from last year, and your dedication and time is very well appreciated.

If I had more time I'd come out and help throw some rocks... it's just gonna take time guys to clean it up...it's gonna be a great track.

I'll have some time the first weekend of June (6th and 7th)...I'd be happy to come on out and help out if you guys need it...(of course, as long as the track isn't a puddle due to a downpour...lol)

We appreciate the words and offers for help,
Yeah that big rain Fri raised alot of stuff to the surface for sure. We are gonna try and get an excavator out there and dig out the shutdown and get some more dirt.

FB I wasnt saying the bike didnt run 4.3's I was just saying I didnt see it, The computer shows all the times...unfortunatley the lights werent reading accuratley...I made a pass it said I went 3.8 at 634mph....I know I didnt run no 3.8
I had some other passes that I raced a 5.5 bike and won and it said I ran a 6.7 soooooooooooo Im not saying its not possible but until we figure lights out for sure I have no idea what my bike runs. All though later in the day after everyone left we tried again w/ the lights and they were working good for about 2hrs than they wld stop working
So I just think it was hit or miss if they were working correctly or not.

Hopefully next time we wont have to race w/ arm drop......LOL

QUOTE (fat [censored] @ May 18 2009, 11:04 AM) index.php?act=findpost&pid=43106guys i was picking rocks the size of softballs out of the starting line all day. you guys didn't see any rocks come on, maybe you should look beside the track at all the rocks people threw off the track, hole you didn't see no rocks cause you where in jon's dust lol j/k, if you think i',m wrong just ask all the banshee boys that where there for the [email protected] they said the same thing. they rocks might not be a problem for mine and holeshot's slow strokes but at 80 t 90 mph on a rigid frame it could cause a big crash, same goes for the shut down it was way to rough. r snowmo ran 5.1 the very first run and sunday morning we ran a 4.3 and 4.5 with the motor dieing at the start. i will post the slip,s for you jp we ran a 4.3 no lie hoping for 4.0s next race. me and my crew would love to help you guys with cleaning up the track you guys did a great job out there this year keep it up. i hope to have my street bike motor quad there by july still in the air on what motor too run, hum. jp your bike is running great but why does she spew gas out of the carb.
my best on the 450 with me on it was 5.7 my brother was runnin 6.2 on a 400ex with a jockey mine ran 5.5 still got alot off work to do but its a start.
thanks for the props on the build it did turn out better than we thought it would, the same goes for you bike jp real nice job buddie

My float bowl was sticking, Sucked I had to do everything I could to keep it running at the line in the finals....LOL It wld bog outta the hole then it wld pull good on top.

Im gonna get a new needle and seat from packard and hope thats it

That DS450 ran a best of 5.6 its just got a pipe, K&N,pink wire cut on cdi
When I was out there the shut down was terrible. Took a rock or peice of ashphalt to my brand new small bores and fed it all up. Track will be awsome as soon as the shut down area is cleaned and smoothed. Huge effort by the PHMC crew for sure they are trying and I give them props Keep up the good work. Nice meetin you as well JP
We got shutdown improved alot and are expecting 100,000 yards of sand/clay to the track as well. Nice to meet ya too. Sorry to hear about your pipes
