Well first off I need to thank all the guys who have offered advise to my questions in the 2 stroke section, and the work is starting to pay off. Right outta the truck today the bike ran a [email protected] 70.5mph. With some fidling with clutch setup, jetting, tire preasure, and bar height I ended up nocking down a [email protected]!! I am really happy with 4.20's hell I figured 30's were gonna be tough with this setup. Time to start lightning it up I think

what kind of domes does ur set up use
QUOTE (Kawiking @ Jul 26 2009, 03:05 PM) index.php?act=findpost&pid=51211what kind of domes does ur set up use

They are specific to the vito head but I had them machined by NOSS for my set up on alky but they have been heavily modified by me to get the "numbers" where I wanted them. I am thinking this winter I will send em out and have a new set made that don't require the shims I had to put on them once I got done cutting the bottoms up. Basically I ended up lowering them .065 and cutting the squish band higher to get the compression and squish where I wanted, I know you guys will think that sounds crazy but hey it rips and I am loving it!! I also got a little freindly with the grinder to get the port timing where I wanted it and that must be working out too, hard to believe I just got into this sport a year ago.......this [censored] is addicting!

I had to do the shim thing on my old setup to get squish right and then had a friend make my dome blanks which I then cut.It sounds like its runnin now
