I was just wondering what kind of 60 ft times a low 4 sec pass should be around? If I pull a 1.51 60 ft but only 53mph at lets say a 4.2..... Do I have room for improvement on 60ft? I know I cld use some more mph? Just curious. This is in a OEM 250r frame (non lightened). What will help me and hurt me?

Thanks

Thanksjp ether something was wrong with the mph timer , or you got of the gas hard after breaking the timer stop beam , and was slowing be 4 you hit the mph timer. if your 60ft was was 1.51 @ 4.2 you where running way faster than 53 mph

LOL......Im not saying my bike went 4.2 at 53mph....Im mearly using 4.2 as a ref.
Mine went 64.7mph
I was tryn to get an idea. I am using 14 paddle extremes but its still spinning (may be helping me thou). Just tryn to get an idea if I picked up my 60ft what to expect. Or what kind of mph a 4.1? pass wld be?

Thanks Frank

most of my 4.1 passes had around a 1.55 60'@ 76-78mph. Thats without a bar.

Here is one of my slips. I'm 215-220 and My trans was being picky on me so I had to feather the clutch just right or my trans would jam.. so my RT sucked that day.

Hey Jim, for reference when my wife ran a 4.29 on sand, she had a 1.52 60ft. Her mph always runs from 69 to 71mph. Making that shift from 1st to 2nd is very critical on the singles to get them accelerating early. If you overrev 1st too much, you can give up 1-2 mph and an easy .1 on the other end.

The Banshees that run the same times will always have several mph more on top end, but wont 60ft as good or any better. They have to make up the difference from about half track on. When I ride her bike it is definitely more aggressive on takeoff, then just settles down about 100ft out.

On the dirt track we go to in MS, she has had 1.44 and 1.45 60ft times, and she ran those 4.17 and 4.19 passes. The mph was still in the same range. Hope that helps out some Bubba

Ok cool. Im taking off in 2nd w/ 15-36 gearing,I have a 16 tooth front im gonna try too. My trans is 2-4, I tryed 1st its like its on ice. Still playing w/ gearing combos. This is also w/ my pilot motor 448cc.
I had some 4.5 passes at same (64) mph w/ 1.54 60ft as well, could have been the mph sensor was off too. We will see on Sun.
