I hope this is not a dumb question but here goes, does either the slingshot or the direct drive lockout allow you to set it up to slip leaving the line? (Honda version)

I run on only asphalt and need some serious slipage to leave the line

I bet it would be pretty easy to do on the honda due to the 5 disks. I would imagine you could try using some very weak springs to gain some slippage. Kevin G. would be the one to answer this question. He is the master engineer that knows vast amounts super cool stuff!!

I know that with the lockup setup like its supposed to be AND with 450lbs of spring pressure you wont get any slippage. Check out this video of the 510R attempting to leave in 2nd with 17-40 gears and 81" 11 paddle extremes! IT AINT HAPPENING!!!

BUT you can get the clutch to slip, just put some weak springs, then once the balls are forced out against the plate your going to lock up. I guess the question is just how much slippage will occur before the clutch CLAMPS down.
