We are just trying to get an idea of where everyone is at and who would attend if we did a big race weekend for asphalt and sand draggers to meet. It would be nice if we could do a weekend and do a sand track on saturday and a asphalt track on sunday.. anyways take the poll so we know were everyone is at. we are thinking Kansas because of its central location. but this could change..

I would be all in if some of you guys would make this diesel fuel prices go down. Heck I can barely afford to get to work and back and still buy groceries and pay bills.

2 hours north of KC is a great track for both, sand drags and atv asphalt drags.

They would add with the atv asphalt drags. Motorcycles and diesel trucks.

They would also have great payouts for us too..

At this track. Test and Tune on Friday nights do bring in around 2000 people to watch the races.

Also, they will let sand draggers(over 60" wheelbase) with asphalt tires race on the asphalt track..

They also have camping. Showers for the racers.. Food and lots of BEER..

They also hire atv asphalt draggers for exhibition shows during the season..

Check out the track.. http://www.midamericamotorplex.com/2006/default.asp

A need to know..

To have ATV event at any asphalt track.. It will cost 1000's of dollars to rent the track to have an event..
Unless we get the track to host a ATV event..
We would have to make sure there were more than 50 atv draggers to show up.

I do have a list of tracks that would host a ATV event.. Two are the biggest NHRA tracks in the country.
Some tracks would follow the NHRA & IHRA rules.
But there is tracks are letting in sand draggers with asphalt tires and chain guard..

It has been an average of $1,000.00 per hour, then add in the advertizement (flyers, radio, etc.) and dont forget payroll, medic, security............. and the list goes on and on and on and on>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>. lol! I have been getting tracks to add classes to their scheduled events this year and we have seen a major growth in the sport around S.C. and Ga.
