Are you guys using case savers on your larger motor drag bikes? or are they just too big to allow use of larger sprockets?

well I know I have seen some guys grind them down to about 1/2 the size?/ After a couple of busted cases I seen last week got me to thinkin..I would be sick if I threw a chain & it busted my cases... maybe with these long chains it drops down or slings away from motor?

just trying to cover all the bases before we go out full time.
i never ran one till last year when i saw my buddies chain get his cases.... bought one the next day !!
You can't fit them with the larger sprockets unless you trim the case saver. You really don't need one unless your motor supports are cut out and thanks to Dave got me hooked up with a company that makes engine strut stays that go from the top chain roller to the stator and case.
