check out how small my intakes that i used last year with 38mm carbs..lol..now i have 48mm carbs and the complete intake goes inside my carb..i believe they were restricting alot of flow and fuel..
check this out

nope to be honest the 38mm carb slipped right on..but ive done what u are talking about but i always took and boiled them in hot water then stretched them on..lol..was a [censored] to do but does work..
