Yeah they don't want what hapened last time to happen again. Hopefully they will all go straight up north instead of Houston.

I may have to come up there my other option is heading to lake livingston

I live 35 mile west of New orleans and people are freaking out since Wednesday.

Ahh man people are buying generators, your lucky if you can stop and get gas in your vehicle in less than 30 minutes, nothing in stores.

Everything is fine, all the old people are leaving and the young people are planning hurricane parties.

Voluntary evacuation tommorow

I got my generator, Window Unit, cooler of beer and water, and a alarm clock I'm good to go..lol

Now there saying Hurricane Ike is heading our way.............Once again people are freaking out i couldn't even get my oil changed today or my inspection done. Most of the gas stations are already running out of reg unleaded. It's crazy how people freak out about a hurricane that hasnt' even hit the gulf yet. Were buying a generator this time and a window unit and riding it out like we did last time. We waited til the last minute for Hurricane Gustav and it didn't even hit here it was like a ghost town nobody was open.

Katrina is STILL on everyone's minds. Whatcha gonna do. You guys get Hurricanes, we get tornadoes, out west it's 'quakes...
