whats a good gearing for 300ft for a hybrid raptor on alky...jockey 160-180 pds..paddles 24in 14 extremes 77 r.o.

it has 12-44 on it now and seems a lil high for gearing..was thinking more like 13-44-46

13/44 would be higher gearing. if you have a 1-4 you want to be running out of gear in 4th at about 325ft.

we run a 12-45 with 25-12-9 extremes with a 200 pound rider. Hope this helps this is on a 797cc and a 780cc

yes this helps alot..im gonna try a 12-45-46 and see if i run out of gear if so il go 12-42-43..but thanks guys

Thats what we do all ways gear it to low and then go just back the other way just enough, You going to shelton's this weekend if it don't rain.
