start at 4 and work up.... im runnin 8 on my 4mil cub. my builder told me around 7, but it likes 8.

what pipes are you rinning, is the motor ported or not, what domes are you running?

I'm sure everybody has there own Opioin But, 8 degree's is a Good Start

5 to 6 is where I like to start off on a gas engine, 7 to 9 on a alky motor.
Again...that depends on dome type, squish thickness and band and compression.
