Ok i have a set of 48 gas carbs on my snowmo engine. One of the carbs is so rich at idle to 4000 rpm it wont even run on that cylinder. I swap the slides and it follows the slide not the carb. I have swapped the metering rods and it makes no difference. It always follows the slide. It looks and measures exactly the same as the other slide. Anyone have any ideas, i am not sure if i can even get just a replacement slide, I know they have numbers on each that match the carbs. The good slide works on both carbs but the bad slide runs so rich in either carb it wont pick up till over 4000 rpms no matter where i adjust the metering rod and that cylinder is always 100-200 degrees cooler on the egt monitor. Thanks for any help.
