Ill agree with you guys with the dirt tracks being 1 tenth faster then sand. I race at west michigan sand dragway and are race surface is a mixture of sand and clay. The track gets graded every 4 to 5 passes for the atv's so its usually really smooth. You can compare our race surface to the shore line on a beach where the water comes up and then goes back in after a wave. Thats exactly what it looks like with hardly any rocks at all. We have tryed to tine it before and run on that basically similar to the surface of the primm, little sandy, and gilbert tracks but sand and clay and there was no time difference from graded or tined.
I have a blaster that only has a overide, trinity stage 4 port job bored .010 over on alky, stock frame with a lonestar +6 swinger and an STE pipe that runs 5.6's in 300ft..
I just bought a blaster motor with 240 big bore kit, +4 crank, with 34mm lectron on alky ported by rpm plus. That motor will be going in a lightened stock frame and then going to A&S next week to get some other stuff done.
