QUOTE (onebig04dodge @ Jul 1 2008, 07:42 PM) index.php?act=findpost&pid=4316I need to know if running atf type f in the trans of a banshee is a bad idea or not. Then I need to know how much timing I can run on a 7mm cub thats not ported with cpi's and 38pwk. thanks
also if i'am not mistaking elevation plays a roll on how much timing you can use.....hope that helps

I use ATF Type F as well. Lockup and override, all I run. Change it every other race. Still pink/red when I change it.

Elevation does have an effect on how much compression you run, timing is not as effected...
As said, how much compression are you running, are you running alky or gas? Are you running 200, 300 foot or longer?
There are a lot of factors involved....

Also...I strongly advise you to get a magnetic drain plug. they do a great job of keeping the fluid cleaner a bit longer....
