I have been think on putting silencers on my out of frame pipes and have a couple of questions.
I have a set of pro circuit silencers would they work?
Is there a formula for the length?
Weld on or bolt on?

I might be willing to trade them for some silenced pipes both out of one side.
Any help would be appreciated.

If the ID of and length of the silencer is the same as the ID and length of the stinger tube...it will.
I'd almost bet the ID is smaller...

I'd call Matt Shearer, a site sponsor, and ask him for flanges and silencers...
Tell him if you have small or big bore pipes, the ID is different.

You can weld the flange on, bolt on the silencers. If you want, you could always weld a flange on your stinger tubes and bolt those back on if you want...

Probably not Shayne.... He has JJ&A cheaters. They look like silencers, but they're actually straight through stinger tubes. Not sure if he has them still or not.

I have silencers on mine, they bolt on with three allen head bolts.
I had JT measure my silencers and he made me stinger tubes.
To be honest....it's just too damn loud with stinger pipes, especially with two out one side and pointing up in the air towards my melon.... absolutely no performance gain/loss whatsoever.
We need silencers AND spark arrestors to ride at our dunes....

I've used both.. I ran my cheaters at the track and used my silencers at the dunes. when I did my pipe swap all the ID's were the same from big bores to small bores.

I ended up buying some Toomey t5 stingers from Cascade at a good price. I lucked out the ID was the same so it was a real easy fix. What ya think?

inside of the silencer. so wouldi just slide the silencer over the stinger.

No I had to cut the stinger and weld the flange to the pipes then bolt the silencers on.
