Well, finally got the 879 to the track today. My good friend Geoff was able to pull a 4.40/1.58 60ft(No bar) with it. I only managed a 4.68 on it....I'm 220+

We'll have a bar on it before the season start's next month for sure. We've got plenty of testing still to do.

4.4 is good run, nice bike
nice looking quad nice numbers too
4.4 all motor is a great run. Good job dude.
that is cooking.. congrats.
That bike ran awesome! They flogged it hard all day Sat and had zero problems. Geoff got a serious work out and did a great job of figuring out how to shift it fast enough to keep off the limiter. Congrats Mike.

Nice. Those new paddles should help out tremendously too!
That bar will definately hold. It is alot stronger than my three bar. Looks great. Keep us posted.

Thanks Trent, I'm alittle nervous about mounting it to the rear grab bar...we'll see what happens next weekend. If it looks like it's gonna be an issue, we'll put something on the swingarm and mount it there.

Last time I was on the sand was friday afternoon.....once I thought I had head gasket issue's, I loaded up and left. I'll be at Albany sat and sun.
Finally made it back to the track saturday and sunday....I decided to put a 2-4 over-ride in, when the motor was out to fix some head sealing issue's. This was my 1st time at having an "auto" tranny....I'm hooked now. It was done BY R&D MOTORSPORT(Took 1st,5th and reverse out)...it held-up awesome..no issue's.

My previous best was a 4.68, I ran a 4.44 on sunday. When we put my friend Geoff on it, who's previous best was a 4.40, he went 4.27
I'm 220lbs+, and Geoff goes about 150. I hope to put it in the 4.3's before year's end and have Geoff put it in the high 4.1's.

Anybody looking for an over-ride for there Raptor 700 should check these guy's out http://www.r-dmotorsports.com/ It's a spendy tranny, but I believe they're doing some things that other's are not.

I'll be back at it next month.
