68 x 58 115 rod serval cub, "as casted" no porting. 38mm lectrons, 19cc domes, .055 squish, trinity stg 4 pipes, vp 109 fuel.



This is a Huff Technologies snowmobile engine dyno that we have adapted a shaft to dyno banshee engines from the countershaft.



This setup made 97.6 hp, 54.5 tq, both peaks at 9400 rpm, 51.8 lb/hr fuel flow and .55 bsfc



We have detonation detection equipment in control room, listen as engine is loaded at 7000 rpm, the sharp snapping noise is deto. It detonates at peak again but is not picked up in video. Tune up was changed!



We did not build this engine just a setup customer brought for tuning.



Thought it was worth sharing, would be intersting to see how much hp this setup has at rear tire.

That setup will be around 80hp, at best on the average "conservative" dynojet. Those break specific seem lean, but that might be related to the higher "crank hp"...

This is the first banshee we've had on this dyno so have no others to compare to. As far as hp numbers in the sled world this dyno is not "generous" by any means. We kinda fiqured this setup would be around 80 hp at the tire. Bsfc at .55 is a little lean for trail, this was tuned at .62 in the end.
