looking for insight on problems with billet cases and stock tranny not shifting. tranny has brand new shift forks nuetral down 1-4 overide. right off the trailor it would only shift in 1rst and 2nd under a load only. under no load it will go threw all gears. never had this problem before and i think since the new motor i buil i have had this problem and cant figure out what the problem is. anyone else have issues with billet cases and a stock tranny not wanting to shift past 2nd gear.

I would check the adjustment around your shift star...sounds like the claw isn't in the right place. I don't own any billet cases, but know a few that do that haven't had any shifting problems w/ override transmission

quadsean has a set of billet cases, stock tranny with a billet second for his BIG twister motor.
He said it's really hard to shift, but he manages to make it along....

did you check your clutch?? my 2-5 would not shift under load when it had broken fibers

yeah like i said in post everything was fresh in motor pulling it back apart tonight to see what the deal is
